Help us help you!

Hello!

It has been very busy the past few weeks. Our Fall semester is in progress and we are gearing up for our next group of new students. I’ve spoken with several students lately that face what I think all of us deal with at one time or another…Challenges.

Life can be challenging at times and that includes college. Speaking specifically about college…there is help out there.

If you have financial concerns about how to pay for tuition be sure to speak with a financial aid advisor. If you are attending MCC the number to call is (941)752-5309. If you are enrolled at USF Sarasota-Manatee or will be in the next term call (941) 359-4459. There may be scholarship opportunities you are not aware of.

If you are an MCC student who has problems with math (or have been avoiding it as long as possible) I recommend contacting one of MCC’s Academic Resource Centers (ARC). There is one at MCC Bradenton (941-752-5504) and at MCC Venice (941-408-1452). The ARC can help you! Here’s a link to their website: http://www.mccfl.edu/pages/144.asp

What I am really trying to say is if you have questions or need help; there are resources at MCC and USF Sarasota-Manatee that may help. Contact us.
